Night of the Living Dead

The Undead have arisen and they keep coming back in a bloodthirsty lust for HUMAN FLESH. George A. Romero’s debut set the template for the zombie film, and features tight editing, realistic gore, and a sly political undercurrent.
Special prize on the night for best dressed Zombie.
Special Screening of short film Dead Apocalypse in advance of feature – Drogheda Arts Festival supporting emerging talent.
Dead Apocalypse recently won second prize at the Junior Finals at the Fresh Film Festival 2013. Written and directed by local young film maker Ewan McNulty, Dead Apocalypse features four young friends trying to survive in a changed world.
Experience the magic of outdoor cinema, enjoy all the sights, tastes and sounds, including popcorn and a full bar. We recommend that you dress for the weather. For those of you who may feel a little chilly, the festival will provide a limited supply of warm snug fleece blankets (on a first come, first served basis) but we recommend you dress warm, and bring along your own blankets.
